Gardeners House

The so called "Kettenburgsches Gärtnerhaus" the property rule let built after the demolition of the eastern part of the manor house about 1900. The Gardeners House includs beside the exhibition in the main floor two attractive holiday appartments in the first floor.

The holiday guests enjoy the advantages of an idyllic view over the Thünen Park, wich invites to relax. On the right sight of the Gardeners House is placed another holiday appartment - inside of an earlier shed.

The main floor is dedicated by the exhibition section "International Thünen Centre".  The slogan is: "The Thünen rings connect the continents".

A big world map stands for a Thünen saying in the Second Part of the Isolated State:

"Mankind here appears as a large organic whole; every injury to the individual member of the whole is experienced by the whole, and complete health is impossible for the individual  member if the whole is not healthy."

In the middle of the room symbolizes a city cross Thünen's market.

The Thünen rings are note down in four languages: German, English, Japan and Russian.

This will be continued by the mural. In each case will be introduced one Thünen researcher of Germany, America, Japan and Russia.
